关于桔子水晶酒店的设计

陈飞波设计事务所受华住集团邀请，参与桔子水晶酒店品牌升级的空间设计，以下为设计师自述：

本案位于杭州西湖边南山路，作为“桔子水晶”品牌起盘时的一家店，对于品牌是有里程碑意义的。我在这个城市20年，来来回回在这条路上穿梭，有许多记忆和情感，接手这个设计任务非常有幸。

AbouttheDesignofCrystalOrangeHotel

UponinvitationofHWorldGroup,IparticipatedinthespatialdesignforthebrandupgradingofCrystalOrangeHotel.

LocatedalongWestLakeonNanshanRoad,thecaseisoneofthefirstshopsofCrystalOrangeHotelandisthusofgreatsignificancetothebrand.HavinglivedinthiscityfortwodecadesandasafrequentvisitorofNanshanRoad,Ihavemanymemoriesandprofoundfeelingforthestreetandthecityandfeelitmyhonortoparticipateinthedesignofthehotel.

疫情缘故，设计过程有些漫长，却也从磨砺中学习到许多。华住集团希望桔子水晶酒店作为战略性布局的中高线品牌来全国拓展，我们工作任务是通过从一家酒店的设计，形成可以全国拓展的属于“桔子水晶”的品牌空间，这会让设计更像是一次系统研发工作。本案负责品牌策略和平面视觉升级的反应堆品牌咨询是一直以来的合作伙伴，品牌升级就是基于新策略而形成的产品闭环，大家碰撞多一些会更整体。

TheprocessofthedesignwasprolongedduetotheCOVID-19epidemic,butIlearnedalotthroughtrailsandtribulations.HWorldGrouphopestoexpandCrystalOrangenationwideasamediumandhigh-gradebrandinitsstrategiclayout.OurtaskistodesignashopofCrystalOrangeHotelthatcanbecopiednationwide.Thus,designismorelikeasystematicR&D.Duibrand,thecompanythatisresponsibleforthebrandstrategyandplanevisualupgrading,hasbeenourlong-standingpartner.Brandupgradingisaclosedloopofproductsformedbasedonthenewstrategywherecollisionofideasismorefrequentandmoreintegral.

空间设计是个始终保持学习的工作，每个客户都会带来新的挑战。我们之前也做过几家单体酒店的设计，比如：木守西溪酒店、乌镇谭栖巷酒店、山水谈民宿、左右客和瓦当瓦舍。同时各种不同类型的物业也有涉及，取得了一些认可，但真正意义上规模化连锁酒店品牌却是极大的挑战。幸好有专业的甲方，华住集团完备的供应商系统对于项目落地起到了很大的支撑作用，我想甲方优秀的核心是整个运营系统。

Toensureagoodspatialdesign,wehavetokeeplearning.Eachgoodclientbringsnewchallenges.Wehavetheexperienceofdesigningmanymonomerhotels,suchasMuhShoouXixiHotel,WuzhenTanxiLaneHotel,ShanshuitanHomestay,ZuoyoukeHotelandWadangwasheHotelwithvarioustypesofpropertyconditions.Ourdesignshavebeenwellrecognized.However,designoflarge-scalechainedhotelremainsabigchallengeforus.Fortunately,ourclientisprofessionalandthesuppliersystemofHWorldGroupplaysakeysupportiveroleintheimplementationoftheproject.Ibelieveanoutstandingoperatingsystemisthecoreofanoutstandingclient.

什么是桔子水晶？如何化解连锁酒店独特性和可复制性之间的矛盾？如何塑造可直观感受的高品质？这三个问题的追问是贯穿整个设计过程的。

回到诚恳

连锁酒店设计的前提是要能快速地连锁化经营。标准的一致性、居住的实用性、成本可控性、材料的耐用性，这些考虑是要贯穿始终的。诚恳面对这些问题，要先放弃设计元素的简单堆砌，进行品牌形象全面合理化系统思维推导，然后想清楚什么是桔子水晶空间的专属，合适的设计就自然出现了。

Backtosincerity

Thepremiseforthedesignofachainedhotelistoensureafasterchainedoperationofthehotel.Weshouldalwayskeepinmindthatthedesignshallbeconsistentinstandard,practicalinuse,controllableincostanddurableinmaterials.Wehavetofacetheseproblemswithsincerityandrefrainfrompilingupthedesignelements.Weshouldmakeacomprehensive,reasonableandsystematicconsiderationandinferenceofthebrandimageandthenfigureoutwhataretheexclusivespatialfeaturesofCrystalOrange.Inthisway,thedesignwillnaturallypresentitself.

解决问题

设计就是解决问题。一个空间的设计和落地，最终挑战的是设计师解决问题的能力。项目现实问题是新老建筑体如何无缝衔接，新旧动线合并复杂而且施工过程还需要保持营业，不大的公区需要融合前台接待、休息、酒吧和早餐功能等，这些问题合理解决，舒适的空间感才会呈现。比如酒店公区，保留了三个不同时期的室内建筑风格，起初环境是纷乱复杂的，我们植入了街区的设计理念，用整体木纹防火材料来统一界面，通过结构变化来保留室内建筑立面上窗户的功能，雨棚的变体设计模拟出西湖栖居的生活市井感，繁星般错落的灯饰装点出公区的仪式感和装饰性。

SolvingProblems

Designisaboutsolvingproblems.Theprocessofspatialdesignandimplementationisfullofaseriesofchallengestodesigner’sabilityofsolvingproblems.Howtoensureseamlessconnectionofthenewandoldbuildings,howtocombinethecomplicatenewandoldgeneratrices,howtokeephoteloperatingduringtheconstructionandhowtointroducefrontdesk,reception,lounge,pubandbreakfastfunctionsintothesmallpublicarea?Allthesearerealproblemsthatneedtobesolved.Oncetheseproblemsaresolvedonebyone,acomfortablespacewillbecreatednaturally.Forexample,forthepublicareaofthehotelthatpreservesthreedifferentinteriorarchitecturalstylesofdifferentperiods,weintroducethedesignconceptofstreetandusewoodenpatternfireproofmaterialstounifytheotherwisechaoticenvironment.Thefunctionofwindowontheinteriorelevationispreservedthroughstructuralchange.ThevariantdesignofcanopyiswellintegratedwiththesurroundingdwellingsalongWestLake.Thepublicareaisdecoratedwithstarrylightsstrewnatrandomtocreatethesenseofritual.

细节还是细节

客房设计是无数个细节考量的结果。桔子水晶的人群定位是高频出差的中高端商旅客群，“大厂”里的人是核心用户群，设计策略上需要研究他们的住宿偏好，分析结果竟然和我们自己的差旅酒店需求是一致的，因此设计标准清晰。我们希望是“迎合自己再去迎接客人”来寻找设计。高效匹配差旅中的基本诉求，把每一个基本功能单元设计到合理精确，用弧线勾勒出适度的包裹感，利用木质和水晶质感的材料让局部空间泛起愉悦。基于以上的考量，再认真对待各个节点的结构、倒角、触觉等细节问题，我想关于设计细节客户说不出来却是能用感官感受到的。

Focusingondetails

Thedesignoftheguestroomsisaboutweighingnumerousdetails.CrystalOrangeHotelisorientedtofrequenthighandmedium-endbusinesstravellers,withstaffsofbigfactoriesasthecorecustomerbase.Therefore,wehavetostudytheirpreferenceforaccommodationinthedesignstrategy.However,theresultofanalysisisthattheirdemandsforthehotelareexactlythesameasthatofours.Thus,thedesignstandardisrelativelyclear.Wehopedtocatertocustomersbasedonourownneedsinthedesign.Weefficientlymeetthebasicneedsofthetravellers,andensurethatthedesignofeachbasicfunctionalunitisreasonableandexact.Morearcsareintroducedtocreatethesenseofcomfortembrace.Woodenandcrystalmaterialsareusedtoboostthepleasantfeelingofthespace.Basedontheseconsiderations,wetreatdetailsofeachlinks,includingstructure,chamferingandsenseoftouch,withgreatcare.Customerscanfeelthedetailseveniftheycannotrealizeorexpressthemclearly.

从业很多年，越来越发现设计没有捷径，只有设计细节不断的打磨和落地。在这里特别感谢桔子水晶的设计管理团队和供应商，愿意陪我们不断修改和完善。

桔子水晶的设计适度地表达了适意。客人经常来住得惯，到西湖边看看晚霞，西湖的天很美水很澄净，我想澄净的就是水晶。
